Teenage girls ain't so bad

My housemate, who was once a teenage girl herself apparently, was annoyed about what I said before about them being mean and stuff, which I suppose was a generalisation. She cites this as a perfect example of how they can be really great and understanding.

She is the only one of the family who is totally accepting of her lesbian aunt, which is commendable.

Teenage Girls

I'm always going to have a strong interest in middle-class, mean teenage girls for one reason or another. Aside from being nubile, firm, innocent and yet eager to explore etc etc, they are also great because they are so really, truly awful. Men send them up really well because they can remember being terrorized by them -or at least the thought of them- throughout their youth (and sometimes well into their twenties), teenage boys are horrible things too I'm sure, but is there a creature alive more selfish, self-absorbed and arrogant than a middle-class mean teenage girl? Maybe one of the reasons so many men don't trust women is that their first experiences with them are when they are at their absolute worst.

(PS. Is there a good one of these done by an Englishman that isn't Vicki Pollard? I'd really like to see one.)
