Racist Photography Enthusiast? Then Look No Further

Racist photography enthusiasts are so difficult to buy presents for. For a start, you don’t want to buy them anything too big, or overtly racist, i.e. flags, banners or posters (see below) as they might not want to put them up in their house for everyone to see. So they’ll have to lie to your face and pretend that they have, when in fact all they’ve really done is quickly stuck them up with Blu Tack just before you pop round their house. And genuine photographic equipment can be so expensive.

Surely there’s a way to combine these two niche tastes?? Yes! There is!! Thankfully some kind folk on eBay has created a ‘Hasselblad gollywog’, in fact, they’ve created ten of them and they all come with their own certificate of authenticity to show that they really are ‘Hasselblad golliwogs’!

Thank god, I’d hate to think that some pervert could just sit in their house creating these humerous images of hate without an authentic endorsement from Hasselblad, or the international golliwog foundation…

T-Shirt Woe Pt. 2

Now, obviously I KNEW this would be a hard one to pull off, but i bought it anyway, because I love KMD and I think this logo is amazing. But it really pisses me off that I can only wear it at parties where i know everyone. I think I have put it on at least 20 times, and kept it on twice. Bollocks.

'Cómeme el coco, megs'

Remember that England friendly against Spain where Ashley Cole and Shaun Wright-Phillips got monkey chants all game? Or Spain's manager at the time, Luis Aragones, calling Henry a 'black shit'? That's not to mention Lewis Hamilton's family all turning out to watch him practice.

Anyway the Spanish seem to really enjoy a good stereotype or two:
(According to google 'Cómeme el coco, negro' could mean 'Eat My Cocoa Nigger', 'Worry me nigger' or 'Soft-soap me black man').

Aparently an Afro-Caribbean gentleman once watched the show and found it mildly amusing which means it cant be racist.
Theres a really boring article about this and those little Conguitos sweets (which have an equally questionable design) here.

bad start

"Boris Johnson, the new London mayor, made his first policy announcement today – banning the consumption of alcohol on all public transport in the capital from June 1.

However, the move immediately drew criticism from transport unions claiming the policy could endanger transport staff.

From next month anyone found drinking or carrying open alcohol containers on any of London's buses, tube trains, trams or the Docklands Light Railway is liable to be ejected. If the offender resists, the British Transport police can be called to help remove them."

Unfortunate Discovery

I have always liked to think I was pretty impartial to issue of race, gender, sexuality and so on – a real child of the moderate, lefty, middle class, 90’s household. But this test devised by sadists at Harvard University’s Psychology department has shattered my illusions. It is designed to explore peoples’ underlying attitudes to race, gender, sexuality, age and religion. And it has exposed mine in a worrying fashion. It takes a few minutes and will, in all likelihood, make you feel like a total shit all day. I turned out to be fairly racist - no Rodney King level vibes, but you would definitely rather be a white guy than a black one if I was pointing a gun at you and had to make a very quick decision in a dark alleyway. But before you beat yourself up about it, it turns out the majority of white people and a lot of black people associate double-sided battle-axes and hand grenades with black people… prepare to face your inner racist.
